What Professional covers, how access works, the privacy-office workflows, and billing.
Common questions
Q: Who is this launch for?
A: Compliance officers, DPOs, CISOs, and privacy teams at organizations that need multi-regulation GRC coverage. Access is application-gated — apply with your LinkedIn profile and business email, and an admin will review your application.
Q: Can I invite teammates today?
A: Yes. Multi-user team invites and role-based access control are live across all compliance modules. Professional and Enterprise plans support named team members with assigned roles (owner, admin, CCO, CPO, DPO, CISO, legal, member, viewer).
Q: Can I self-serve purchase a plan today?
A: Access is application-gated. Apply at /apply with your LinkedIn profile. Once reviewed and approved, you may receive a time-limited invite to complete checkout for the controlled Professional offer at USD 999/month or USD 9,990/year + VAT where applicable. Enterprise and Enterprise Plus are not sold in this launch. No direct self-serve checkout is available.
Q: What proof backs product claims?
A: Claims are tied to generated certification artifacts, runtime checks, workflow tests, and dated governance records. Claims that do not have current proof are removed or explicitly qualified.
Q: What still needs operator review?
A: Cookie review, some evidence assembly, and certain external fulfillment steps still require operator validation. The launch does not claim full autonomous execution where that proof is missing.
Q: Does customer data leave the browser?
A: File contents, raw extracted metadata values, raw filenames, and local paths stay inside the browser, local folder, or approved customer cloud boundary. ScrubMetadata stores only account/auth/billing records, application events, hashes, counts, categories, and privacy-safe compliance evidence needed to operate the service.
Workspace FAQ
Q: How do I access the product?
A: Apply at scrubmetadata.com/apply with your LinkedIn profile and business email. An admin reviews your application, and if approved you will receive a time-limited invite link to complete checkout. After payment, your workspace is provisioned and device fingerprinting is enabled.
Q: What plan is available right now?
A: Professional is the only plan available in the current controlled launch. It supports one EU internal privacy office with 1 to 20 practitioners at USD 999/month or USD 9,990/year + VAT where applicable, and requires an approved application before checkout.
Q: Is SSO or team administration generally available?
A: Owner- and administrator-managed invitations and role assignment are available for approved Professional organizations with 1-20 practitioners. Bulk import, SSO enforcement, SCIM automation, and advanced identity-provider lifecycle controls remain outside the controlled Professional offer.
Q: What workflows are ready in the current launch?
A: The current launch centers on DSAR intake, consent management, data inventory, breach workflows, audit trail capture, and evidence export for a single accountable operator.
Q: How does cookie review work?
A: Cookie review is a scoped, header-based first pass with suggested categories and CSV export. It is not marketed as a full autonomous scan of browser storage or every third-party surface.
Q: Do you support fully automated external DSAR fulfillment or data discovery across connected systems?
A: No public claim is made for those capabilities in the current launch. Where integrations exist, they are handled as guided or design-partner workflows until full proof is in place.
Q: What can I export for audits or board reviews?
A: You can export operator-reviewed evidence for management review from completed workflows, including RoPA records, DPIAs, control snapshots, audit trails, and the outputs available for the exact workflow. Completeness remains dependent on the underlying records and manifested evidence.
Q: Will I still need manual artifacts for some audits?
A: Yes. Some certification or buyer-review packages still require manual supporting evidence. The launch posture is honest about that dependency instead of claiming push-button completion everywhere.
Q: How do I get help during the design-partner launch?
A: Use the help center, public docs, or contact the team directly. Support is handled as a controlled launch program rather than a fully scaled self-serve support motion.
